Hey folks, seems like I read an article somewhere once about someone cutting the riser in two then reattaching them so as to have then a take down bow. Any one recall or have knowledge of such? Thanks, Ralph.

Big Jim from Big Jim's Bow company has some videos on you tube showing his process.
I tried it on a,small handled kids bow but it broke, not enough wood.
