Flex-Fletch Pro Nocks - Anyone use them?
« on: November 13, 2012, 12:23:00 PM »
I stumbled onto these online and they look similar to what a modern Mercury nock might look like. No index that I can see.

Has anyone used them and how did you like them?

Thank you.

No Bud, but they sure look interesting.  The only thing that would concern me is the edges against the string looks really sharp.  This also might be a design for using on the other bow with a string loop.  There is no radius on the shoulders of these nocks???  Let us know how they work?

I contacted the company and they're sending me 6 to test.

We'll see.

Just went to flex flex web site and there are in fact the old pro nocks that many of us competition shooter shot back in the 80's.  I had no idea they were still making them.  I have a stash of them here some where, and I thought they were the best nock out there at the time.  The only problem we had with them back then, was the lips on the end of the nock were very very sharp.  And while pulling an arrow from the bales, if your leg was in the way, it would give you a nice cut.  Had to be careful with them

I used them back when. They worked fine but had to replace serving more often. Some guys that shot target really liked them because of their slim profile. The Bjorn nocks are bigger and got in their way. We did not have a bunch of choices back then.
