Early Anniversary Present
« on: August 15, 2007, 10:18:00 PM »
Well my wife and I's anniversary isnt for another month but we were walking around Gander Mountain tonight and I seen they had a Reinhart Broadhead Buck 3-D target on the shelf and I have wanted one for a while.  I pointed it out and kept walking.  I was in the back looking at some other stuff when she said she was going to go look at something.  She does this often so I didnt think nothing of it.  A little while later she came back and then we left.  When I got out to the car there was a big box in the back of her Trailblazer.  When I looked to see what it was it was my target and she told me happy anniversary.  She said she wanted me to get it now so I could use it before the season starts.  It was dark when we got home so I put it up in the basement and shot a few rounds at it.  Here are some pics:

The arrow that is low and out of the vitals hit one of the other arrows and glanced low.  Here is my proof.

David yeah she does good.  That was her other reason for getting it now cause in a month she wont have time to go out shopping for it.

I wish I could but for some reason she wont shoot with me.  She has expressed interest a few times but when I say lets go pick up a bow for you she always says no.  I will eventually wear her down.

That is not my water heater.  That is the gas line coming in the basement.  It is well protected though.  And I can only shoot 13 yards in the basement.  Knock on wood I never get a really wild flier and hit that!!

Jason you are more than welcome any time.  I need to pick up some hay bales so I can put them behind the target before I start shooting outside.  My garage already had enough holes in it!!
