What to do with left over pumpkins
« on: November 20, 2012, 02:20:00 PM »
Gwyn had off from school yesterday and we had not been out shooting together much since I have been hunting a bit. So we decided to take some of the little pumpkins left from Halloween and put them to good use. So we took a quick ride to one of my local stump shooting spots.

It was a very nice day with clear sky and nice cool temps. What better way to spend a day with a daughter.

Gwyn was really hitting her mark this day.

Gwyn was tearing it up and soon there wasn't much left.

The best part was the smile that stayed on her face all day, and the memory we created.

Now thats the way to use leftover pumpkins! Around here they end up as deer bait, but I've never seen much activity around them. With that hill in the background I thought you might even have some rolling pumpkin shots! Your daughter will think of Halloween as much more than costumes and candy from now on!

We feed them to deer also. They seem to be like deer candy around here.

Jerry,

You're up there right close to God's Country... I bet those big woods areas pumpkins can be quite the treat!

Sweet kid... wonderful smile on her face!

Way to go, Hoss!
