Need glove advice
«

I'd like to find a shooting glove that I like so that I can put it on under a pair of fingerless gloves with a mitt cover and it'll feel the exact same as when I target practice without the mitt.
In the past I've enjoyed using a tab that has two thin pieces of flexible leather, one with hair on that goes on the string.
What glove would give me a similar feel to my tab?

don't know about feeling the same as your tab, but I use the "dura-glove" from 3Rivers the same way..under a glo-mitt. It has a slick, thin cloth-type fingers that are vry flexible and "feely"...

I like the original Bear paw all leather glove, I think they may have been bought out by Neet. I am 6'3" and use a xxl glove they do run a little small, but when they break in they are soft and feel nice. I also shoot it under the mitt and sometimes I wear a poly propylene liner then the shooting glove and the mitt over it.

I recently got an American Leathers Crossover glove, and used it just as you say you are wanting to. It works great. I have done the same with a Martin/Bearpaw glove in the past, and they work fine, too.

Black Widow PDQ glove. Also depends on your bow weight, the thin type gloves like Dura are ok for light weight bows, not so good with heavier weights. Try to find someone who has a crossover glove before you buy. It was described on this forum as the best thing since sliced bread, but, it was the worst feeling glove I have ever had, ill fitting and the nylon on the fingers were a joke.

I just switched from a Cordovan tab (EW Bateman and Alsaska Bowhunting Supply Skookum) which are both great, to the American Leathers CrossOver. Great glove. Quality workmanship and a smooth release off those leather tips. It's not cheap, but I should last a long time. Good luck.

Thanks for the help. I'll check into some American Leathers at the local shop.
