just ordered a ST Joe Rivers youth bow, now I need some arrows for it, bow is 27#'s , I was told Eastons 1616's would fit it nicely, any other recommendations or does anyone have experiance with these arrows?

I would think arrows would be avaliable from St Joe Rivers or at least they would recomend the right arrow for their bow and a supplier.

I have two bows I bought for my kids, one is an older 35# Shakespeare (Root) and the other is a 30# PSE Buckeye and I tested several shafts but both seemed to like the 1916's.  I also tried 2013's and 2113's but they showed too heavy of a spine.

I've ordered three sets of arrows from Rob Green that are high quality, excellent workmanship that the kids love! He listed his arrows in the sponsor classified last year when I was ordering from him.

Without a doubt, Rob Green of KidStix makes the finest wood kid's arrows. Contact him and he will make arrows perfectly spined and set up for your son's St. Joe River.

Another Idea for lighter weight kids bows. I got my daughter some Easton Jaxx, I believe 1216's with the Nib Points, they fly like rockets and stick into 3d Targets no problem.  Check Mike at the Nocking point, the Aluminums are indestructable, and I feel the best choice for lighter weight Kids Bows.

That St. River bow will be fantastic...

Just ordered a 12# longbow from St. Joe and he suggested Lost Nation for the arrows. Both guys supplied great customer service.
