Last advice needed! Two tracks or toelke?
« on: November 27, 2012, 12:56:00 PM »
Hey guys,
Thanks for all of your input. THis is my last question.
I am choosing between a Two tracks longwalker 64" 45@ 30 honduras rose wood riser and brown glass for 475 shipped. OR a toelke 66" 41@28 gum cherry  vaneers and cocobolo riser both with bammboo core @600 shipped. Will there be a difference in performance? will the pretty much shoot the same? pleas give me you opinion on which to buy. Thanks
bart

I cannot comment on the two tracks. You will almost certainly never regret buying a Toelke bow. They are some of the best bows out there.

Toelke makes an excellent bow. Fast and quiet.

Never had a Two Tracks, but I know the Toelke I had was a fantastic longbow!! Fast, silent, and great top notch workmanship!!

Like the guys before said, no experience with the two tracks, but those Toelke's are great performing bows.  The other thing you can be sure of with the Toelke is it will look fantastic and be as quiet as a whisper.

I have heard a lot of good things about the Two Tracks though.

Can't comment on the Toelke, never shot one, but between my son and I we have 3 Longwalkers and love 'em.

In situations like this it is always best to get both.

I vote for the Longwalker, Chuck is a great guy and will bend over backward to make you a happy customer. Also his bows are top notch.

Chucks bows are great too, from Two Tracks. His long walker I have shot extensively at various shoots, and it's what I would order from him, and what I will when I pick one if his bows up.  It's nicely designed, and he's been putting some awesome wood combos together with a little art and they are looking great.  He runs out of bows all the time, I think that's a good sign!

I would give him an idea of what you want and he will make it look and shoot great.  His bows are eye candy for sure. He seems to put together some gorgeous bows and a lot of locally cut wood.

Without shooting them, no one can tell you how the two individual bows will shoot in comparison. I can however tell you that I own and shoot Toelke's and have had the opportunity to shoot many other bows at 3d shoots over the years, though not a Two Tracks. Dan's bows are superbly mannered by any measure, I have never shot a finer bow. And again you will never deal with better people more commited to customer satisfaction than Dan and Jared.

I've heard great things about Two Tracks and I wouldn't hesitate buying one myself; however, I haven't shot one, yet.

I will say this: you will NOT be disappointed with a Toelke. I can promise you that. Quietest bow I've ever had the pleasure to shoot. Fast too!
