Got my boy's today. First thing I noticed, very well packaged for shipping. Limb tips were padded and it was in schedule 40 pvc filled with styrofoam peanuts. Now for the bow. It's not your typical shiny/slick finish, it is sanded natural rattan. I personally love the finish, just ads to the primitive look and feel. The bow Shaun built for me is a "Legolas" style with flipped tips 35# @ 28" and appears to have very good cast, definitely more than enough for hunting hay bales which will be it's primary use. The bow is feather light and I couldn't believe how smooth the draw is out to 28" for such a short NTN bow. I'm very seriously considering having him build me one as well in a heavier weight for stumping/small game (probably have to wait til after Christmas though). Finally, Shaun was a pleasure to work with and got it out very quick. You can't go wrong here folks.
