Met a fellow tradganger on vacation--Bisch
« on: December 01, 2012, 08:07:00 PM »
The family and I are on vacation near Austin TX and I was surfing for a nearby archery shop.  I found Bisch's pic splattered all over a website, I pm'd him, and we met this afternoon.  He's a heck of a nice guy and it was great to talk stickbows and arrow'n critters together!
Small world...thanks to tradgang!

It was nice to meet up and chat with you this afternoon, Manolito! I am envious of you for living up there with all those big 'ol Ks bucks. Good luck sticking an arrow in that big boy you were telling me about. I'll be watching for the story and pics.

Next time you are down this way, you need to send the girls off shopping on their own and we can find somewhere to go shoot at something.

See ya later,

Bisch

It's a deal!  I'll keep you posted on my quest for antlers this season.

I haven't met a bad tradganger yet! I hope to meet both of you one day.    :campfire:

Bisch is alright, just can't figure why a man would go and destroy a perfectly good feeder.

An arrow can only be shot by pulling it backward. So when life is dragging you back with difficulties, it means that it's going to launch you into something great.

I just bought some shafts off of Bisch last summer, and he was a great guy to deal with.  If I ever go to Texas, I'm gonna look him up and see if he'll guide me on a feeder-leg hunt!

I dunno, Bisch... I've had such bad luck lately that I may need a 'gimme'!

But seriously... I agree with the original poster:  I've come to enjoy some peoples' company via TG, and it would be fun to meet them in person someday.

I almost think an international TradGang rendezvous in some out-of-the-way, wild location might be well-attended...!  Can you imagine such a thing, in a place like Catalina Island used to be back in the 60's?
