Shelf Wear
« on: December 04, 2012, 12:08:00 PM »
I have some obvious wear on my shelf.  Is this normal, or is this an indication that my nocking point is off, or that I'm shooting the wrong spine weight?  My arrows seem to fly true.

How long did it take to get like that? If it has been 6-9 months I would sat your OK. If it got like that in a week you may have a problem. On the other hand if your getting good arrow flight.....don't worry about it!
In the beginner's mind there are many possibilities. In the expert's there are few...So the most difficult thing is always to keep your beginner's mind...This is also the real secret of the arts: always be a beginner.  Shunryu Suzuki

That is a year's worth of wear, but it took the color off that spot in like 3 months.  I was just sitting in my stand looking at it and finally decided to inquire.
