« on: December 13, 2012, 09:12:00 PM »
Hi i recently read a post asking what forums members like best and it got me thinking.I was wondering if anybody has ever had an idea for a forum or any other ideas that they have wanted to share.

Maybe a broadhead forum all to its self.   ;)

I wish more people would use the "grillin'" forum, but other than that I think it's all covered very well.

Maybe a separate forum for distinct species would be cool, though...

Actually,  I would love to see one "higher level" forum - so to speak.

It would display the most recent post regardless of which forum and display it on a single page.   That way if there is an interesting or lively conversation happening in say, the bowyer's bench forum - you can weigh in or just watch it without seeking it out.

A great example is, every so often the Dangerous Game forum has some excellent threads but I often forget to go look.   Equally so that forum goes quiet at times, hence I find it less useful to look.

Another thread that I should check more is the sponsors thread...but I again, out-of-sight-out-of-mind and I miss good/great deals.

And doing it this way or similar, it doesn't preclude someone from just hanging out in only one if those threads.  Best of both worlds IMO.

And I will continue to wish we could post pictures directly, but that isn't the point of this thread.  Just trying to keep that fire going...

Maybe you have noticed it maybe not but if you go to the tradgang home page And look in the banner where it displays your screen name above "todays newest member" is a tab that says "Todays active topics". Just thought I would point it out.

A State Forum for each state and Canada and any other group for near shooters to post up about hunt opportunities and the like on a more local level.

And any other geographical location.

The Pow Wow would still be my most visited forum though. Then the bow classifieds   :o    "[dntthnk]"

There already is a state by state forum, so are you asking for something different?  :dunno:

The state forum is for State Organizations. Am I missing something?

If there's one for North Carolina can you post a link please? I do not see one for NC.

A DIY forum to discuss how to make things and to show off the stuff you made other than bows & arrows.

Appreciate that, but that's not exactly what I was thinking.
