Joint pain?
«
on:

I've been shooting a lot lately, unfortunately just targets and not critters, and I've been starting to feel a pain in the thumb joint of my bow hand. I haven't changed my grip or shooting style, but after a few rounds it starts getting to me. Has anyone else had this problem?

Knees, elbows, crooked fingers and sore knuckles. Yep.

the only thing with me so far is my thumb knuckle. Im double jointed and on recurve a lot of times it will rest against the bottom of the shelf and hurt after a few shots. thats one reason I went to longbows. if I stay away from the deep throated recurves Im ok. other than that, its prolly arthritis.
