Kennetrek Boots

Whats everyones thoughts on Kennetrek mountin extremes? I had a pair of Meindl denali boots and they were very comfy except the toe box was like kicking into a concrete wall while descending hills, and the soles were super slipery on hard frozen ground. Very hard rubber sole i think is the major downfall there?

I got a pair of Kennetrek hard tactical's for work and play. Very comfortable and quick break in time. I'm sure the Mountain extremes would be even better than what I have now.

I wore a pair of hardscrabble lights on a muley hunt in Idaho. I thought they worked great.

I have the Moutain Extremes and have been happy with them. I wore out many pairs of Meindel's, and you are right the soles were a weak point and these are better.

Because of the rubber rand they hold up real well in the rocks I hunt in here. It's all sharp rocks or cactus. So far no cuts or holes after three seasons.

One of the finest boots I've ever had on. They are not quiet so archery hunting with them would be out in most situations. If you hunt rough terrian I could not recomend them enough.

Very good boot. I did replace the factory insole with an after market insole. I've got a pair of extremes and hardscrabbles. Excellent customer service also.
