I have had a Duluth pack since 1989/90 (same one) and it has lasted on uncountable camping trips, canoe trips etc. I have used it for EVERYTHING from hauling fire wood, clothes, apples, even quartered deer. If it got dirty I'd throw it in the washing machine and let it drip dry. After all of these years there isn't any sign of it starting to fail! Not a wore spot or loose thread or rivet. I bought mine with a tump line and it really helps out with hauling heavy loads!! A number one superb pack and worth every penny. It will last you a lifetime.
