75gr adapters?
« on: December 24, 2012, 10:08:00 PM »
I know there was some questions a couple years ago about the strength of 75 gr steel adapters for broadheads. Have they fixed the strength issues on these? I haven't bought any for several years.
I am in need of some to reach my desired arrow weight. Where do you get yours from?

Braveheart archery

Super fast shipping and good prices

Regarding strength, they are much tougher than my aluminum adapters.

We have them also and I doubt that you will find them to be even close to as weak as the aluminum adaptors that are commonly used.

Brian, I know what you are referring to. Bad batch of 75 grain adapters a couple yrs ago. My guess is they are long gone. Been using 75's with no bad results. Someone was selling "premiums" at one time but I can't find them now.

Correct the issues were fixed, and the current "standards" now incorporate many of the "premium" features.  Premiums were dropped for that reason as far as I know.

We also have Deluxe Zinc coated steel adapters in 100 and 125 grains that are of fantastic quality.

I have never had any issues what so ever using any grain weight of the steel broadhead adaptors.
