Mohawk longbows in Central Florida ?

Dear fellow Tradgangers...I'd like to shoot a Mohawk before I decide which length and weight will best suit me...my question is this: is there anyone in the Central Florida area willing to meet me somewhere so I can sling a few arrows with your Mohawk bow to help me make my decision ? Thanks

Go to the TBOF charity shoot in January and the championship shoot in March. You'll meet a bunch of trad shooters and should be able to try a few bows out. Details are on the Florida forum here.

Im a TBOF member and plan on attending the charity shoot this month...specifically, I was hoping that someone in the central florida area might own a Mohawk Longbow that might let me shoot a few arrows through it to assist me in making a buying decision from Vince at Mohawk... Please, ANYONE ?

Steve, I know what you mean. I have ordered some new bows long distance without shooting them first.
But as for Mohawks, I live only 40 minutes from Vince (Mohawk bows). When I ordered my Sparrowhawk, I was able to shoot some bows first. Vince built a 66" Sparrowhawk for me, 50 # @ 28". I love the length. The draw is butter smooth, and the bow is very accurate.
And Vince is as fine a guy as you will meet.
Good luck,
Rob
