Removing Beman ICS Bowhunter Label
« on: January 03, 2013, 09:07:00 PM »
I want to remove the Beman logo on my Beman ICS Bowhunter shafts. I've used acetone to remove the logos from other brand shafts but don't think that will work on the Bemans. Any ideas on how to remove them? thanks

Use 100% acetone from hardware store and you gotta use some elbow grease.

I scrap the lable off with the edge of a knife & lightly sand with 600 grit...course a tippit knife works best  :)

Yep strong acetone.

don't try your wife's nail polish remover, just isn't worth the effort.

I always use paint thinner, never had a problem on plain black shafts like the bowhunter. Although I haven't tried it on woodgrain carbon shafts.

Goo Gone.  Works great on Cabela's Stalker Extremes.
