I miss all the time! Funny thing is, my friends who don't hunt all think that squirrel hunting with a bow is "too easy" and "unfair." Ha! They have no idea just how difficult it is! I might as well be hunting hummingbirds. Like I said before, squirrel hunting for me is really just hiking with a bow or stump shooting with a hunting license.

I always think I made a good shot on a ground squirrel if I hit right where his head was sticking out of the whole. Quick little beggars. I sympathize with old mister hawk having to try so hard for supper. I've hit prairie dogs a number of times before they tucked their head back in the hole but never a ground squirrel yet.
