Andy,
That's gonna be one sweet bow ya got going on there.
Hey when Kirk gets into his artsy fartsy mode and the creative juices are flowing. He'll call ya with ideas.

Best advise. Tell him go for it. You'll get twice the bow you imagine in your head.

Great minds must run in the same vein, Denis. I just sent Kirk an email about the grip on my bow that kinda summed up what you just wrote. Based on conversations and emails with him, just about everything but the fact that it will be a TD longbow has been changed...

The one thing he wouldn't do, though, is build me a 45# bow that will shoot an 850 grain arrow over 180 fps...what a slacker!  :readit:    :D

The web sight says out for delivery

I wonder if the postal service has any rules about a fella  stalking the delivery driver in his pickup to get the package early. I know I can track them from the post office. If I loose the trail I can always put one of my Jack Russels on it. Those Little burgers don't give up

I swear that they brought my bow by mule train. Everyone in NY, NC, etc had their bows way before me!

They seem to know who needs it BAAAD a nd just toy with us.

It's worth the wait, Denis!

Andy, you read my post...he nailed the grip like he was in my head! oh, btw, that hunk of wood made me sick with envy and I didn't think that was possible after I got my bow! But he just keeps uppin the anti!

Sometimes, I just hate that Yosemite Sam mustached evil conniver!    :saywhat:

I carried mine all season and never even saw a doe in range!   :(  [/QB]
Well, Doc...I had 5 different bucks between 20 and 50 yards from me last Saturday morning and still didn't get a shot! One was a big 12 pointer that was at least 23" wide...and tall. Maybe if I'd had a different bow, they would have come closer???  :D

I drool every time I look at the pics of that B&W ebony. We looked for quite awhile finding it.

Where is that boy??? OH, Denis...   :dunno:

Either his wife couldn't take his behavior anymore and applied black iron skillet attitude adjustment to his noggin, or he is out shooting...or got locked up stalking the mail-mam...(he did say he had a lady carrier the other day, right?)

I'll have to check back right before bedtime so's I can say a prayer for him...

Please, please don't come back here and tell me that ebony draws in bucks... cause I just cannot afford another bow no how, no way, nuh-uh! Just had to take early retirement and go on Medicare in a couple months...so, dude..please don't post Ebony draws bucks...

My only salvation will be to rationalize it's just them whacked out OKie bucks...          :saywhat:      :jumper:      :deadhorse:
Kirk told me B&W ebony draws bucks.....NOT!  :D

The place I'm hunting is 160 acres, and I can only hunt half of it...but it hasn't been hunted for the last 9 years. I've had deer all over me, but have been hunting from the ground. I must stink! Going to go give 'em another run in the morning. Season expires on the 15th...then will begin to decide where to put tree stand(s) next year and hunt with the camera my dear bride got me for Christmas. It probably shoots further than a bow!

I have come to the conclusion that the sandhill muleys I've been chasing aroung in SE NM for the 15 years previous to this year are WAAAAY easier to hunt than these OK whitetails!

Ok, killed enough time...someone call and make sure Denis didn't have a coronary when he held his new prize for the first time! Hope he's alright.

The wind blew and the _ _ _ _ flew!

Andy, that is a great tale and yarn ya spun there!

Don't go edumcating all them bucks or they'll move to the 1/2 of the property you can't hunt!

Now, Denis, you better be shooting at LEAST a 10 pt with that glossy ole bow or I'm going to have to remind you of that big ole whopper you penned above!!!    :readit:    :saywhat:    :biglaugh:

Now wouldn't that be icing on the cake?! Shoot a big buck with that sucker after going and robin hooding a spendy shaft! Dang!

Glad it came and you're enjoying the fruits of Kirk's labor!
