Any late season KS doe hunters?
«

Had a pretty rough season this year in CO and left with an empty freezer. I'm seriously considering heading to KS before the end of the month for doe hunt. I'd probably head to the NW corner of the state.
How are the deer numbers this time of year on the WIHA areas?
Thanks!

I do not think you can hunt does in the NW after the 13th. A couple units are extended to the the 20th and Unit 19- NE suburbia- has archery doe only to the end of the month.

Bears can attack people- although fewer people have been killed by bears than in all WWI and WWII combined.

Think Nebraska would be cheaper but don't know if their season is still open but you can get two doe tags for$55

Various bows, but if you see me shooting, it's probably a Toelke in my hand!

I don't know how the NW corner of the stste faired, but the eastern was hit hard by EHD. It's had alot people with unfilled tags.
