But this one is mine........Martin Hatfield take down with 60lb limbs. I cammo wrapped the whole thing lovingly, small dabs of glue here and there to make sure it stays on. I made sure not to put glue directly on the wood, only on the cammo wrap sticking to itself. It has really nice wood under it all, and I'm sorry to those out there who feel like I committed a sin by wrapping it up. I put an el cheapo three pin sight on it that came with my "ready to hunt" wheelie bow I had laying around, also that ugly stabilizer hanging off the front. I haven't named my bow yet, but one will come at some point I'm sure. I've been shooting this bow everyday for about a week, I can't seem to put it down, way more fun than my other bow with the cams. Already at 20 yds I'm grouping about 5" or so with Goldtip 55/75 traditionals with feathers and 250gr field points. I've got 250gr SGT's for wascally wabbits and I'm waiting on some 250gr VPA Terminators to come in the mail now, figure I'll start practicing with them ASAP so come September me, my bow and Mr. Dropentineski can become one at the edge of my favorite cornfield :)I'm fairly new on this forum, I'd like to say thanks to all the other members who take the time to share knowledge and experience on here. I took up archery and bowhunting a little over a year ago, starting out on a compound, and I shot my first deer, a spike buck on public land last month. I think the whole experience was life changing for me, I can't put into words the feeling I got harvesting my first deer after all that practice, scouting, reading, learning....I'm really looking forward to hunting with this recurve bow.............

Hatfields are good shooters.  No sin in the camo job, but don't turn your back on it in the woods!  Glad to hear you are having fun with traditional archery.  That's what it's all about.

Looks good to me.  I use a Quinn recurve in some really nasty weather and hunting conditions, but she always fills the freezer.  Not much to look at.  Beauty in a hunting bow is totally in the eye of the hunter who carries it.  Enjoy!

Oh man. We could go on forever quoting that movie. Couldn't we? That's a fun looking bow. And as I always say "to each, his own" just remember where you put it down when you're in the woods.
