I have left more than a couple overnight with several up to 60 degrees for overnight highs for sure. Never lost the meat. I don’t find it to be an issue as long as they are closed up so the air is not getting to the meat. Have lost a couple pushing them too fast trying to find them at night and had some real long tracks after bumping them from their beds because I thought I had a decent hit and apparently did not.
We don’t have as many coyotes as some here do, but they are around. So far never had an issue with them, but if I was real concerned about that, I could camp out in the area in case they got on my dear in the night and then try and run them off.
Just got to love the TV hunting show bashing threads. I don’t have cable so don’t watch those shows much, but can’t say I have seen things that are all that bad on most of the ones I have seen. There are a whole lot of other shows on TV that I find way more objectionable. I don’t care for the whole trophy hunting thing, hunting those highly managed private hunting properties, or a few other things. Probably because of some level of jealousy if I was honest.
