Huntmore making noise

Anyone out had a huntmore that was loud when you shifted your weight in it? If so how did you fix it.

If I'm using mine a lot or if I leave it outside for extended periods of time I've noticed that I need to disassemble the hinges and clean then re-grease them. This is the only way I can keep mine completely quiet.

I have been using them for a long time and on most of my hunts and as a campfire chair the rest of the year. The only noise ours ever makes is a very slight bump when rocking on the chair bearings and when the strap hooking the front of the seat pad is not tight and it contacts the frame.  The bearing is adjustable.  If one is making noise in the legs make sure that it is balanced, so the seat portion is horizontal. The seat hinges can be cleaned if there is grit built up in them.

Check the large center bolt that holds the seat portion to the leg portion. I have had that nut loosen and then it got noisy. I tightened it down and then added a second nut to lock it for sure. No more problem. Be aware that any time you use grease it attracts dirt, which can cause wear and noise.
These are like anything else out there, a bow, tree stand, pop-up blind,- they can have problems- you just have to out think them sometimes. Is does not mean they are a bad product.
I really like my Huntmore, hours of comfort!

Scott had put an instruction sheet in mine about how to keep it from squeeking and I think the maintenance tab on his sponcor page may even give you that imfo..If you have trouble just email or p,m Scott cause he will be more then happy and go;s beyond customer care...He's always more then pleasent to help you out...

Yep, you have to take care of them just a little every now and then.  There are some moving parts and that is what makes it the best and most comfortable hunting chair made.

Put duck tape around the metal d rings....or mole skin....and around the hook...this way it will slide instead of skip.

Mine only did it on rare occasions when I really leaned over...like to pick something up off the ground...not during regular movement when getting shot at deer.

If you ever have a problem with our chair, I'd love an email, phone call or come talk to me in person at one of the shows.

First, we designed the HuntMore 360º Chair to be as maintenance free and dead quiet™ as possible. Just like all mechanical devices and your tree stands, .... General maintenance of Cleaning, tightening or loosening and lubricating should be done when ever needed.

U-Shackle Hinge Assembly:
90% of the time if your 360º is making any noise when you lean back or adjust your weight it's from the U-Shackle Hinge assembly. Loosen up the bolt and use Panef GS-20 White Stick Lubricant with Silicone (www.panefproducts.com) or a scent free white silicon grease, Bow wax also works great!

For in the field use a scent free gun oil on the hinges and hinge stops areas. Remington Oil with teflon works great or DeadDown Wind scent free oil.

Please let me know if that does or does not fix the problem.
