I want to first off thank Dave Heniff for the chance to shoot this bow.
After I assembled the bow I admired the fit and finish along with the choice of woods and the limb veneers. Very well done.
The riser looks to me to be designed to shoot off the shelf so I had to add my brush rest as I get better flight with it. I went into my arrow inventory and selected some Victory carbons to shoot. They are 400 spine 29 in. long. They weight 434 grains which makes them just a tad over 9 grains per pound of bow weight for this bow (48@28).
I found the bow to draw smooth with just a little of what I would call preload for an inch or two. This was not noticeable to me after that first draw back.
Sunday AM found us at the range and time to shoot our clubs` 3d course. We have ranges from 20 yards up to 50 yards plus we can add to those ranges when we have the range to ourselves. My favorite range is from 25 to 35 yards. I found the bow to be comfortable to shoot, I did not have to make any "adjustments" to my shooting to keep my arrows in the critters. I believe this is from the static limb design. If I was going to reduce my draw weight and still want the same performance this is the way to go.
Yes, I am impressed with this bow.
