Hi All,
Here is my latest creation of an R/D bow. I named it “Elauwit” which is an Indian (Unami) name for “The Hunter”. The bow is 62” long (ntn) and has a pull of 52# @ 28”.
The limbs are made of tapered cocobolo under clear glass at both the backing and belly side. The core is made of tapered flooring bamboo. The riser is made of osage and cocobolo split bay a mosaic stripe. The tips are made of G10 micarta with cocobolo overlay. A yellow black flemish string with mink silencers complete the bow. This one I’m gonna use at 3-d animal- or field rounds where only woodies are allowed.
It’s a real shooter with a very smooth draw and it fits my hand like a glove without noticeable hand shock when firing arrows.
