That's a very special bow, Id never let it go.  Bows with a story of some sort are the best.

Nice looking bow. I also love building bows out of the local sawmill woods as well. I think sometime's people get to caught up in all the exotic stuff ,and forget about all the natural local hardwoods that are killer ,simple, and great bow woods.

Beautiful bow! Must be a very talented and creative guy. Never seen osage like that. I agree with nineworlds, bows with a story are the best!

Thanks for all of the compliments on the bow.  I really feel priviledged to own it.

There are not many bowyers in the state of Va for some reason.  I looked all over for years and then met this gentleman 15 minutes from home.

Tater- Since the osage was cut over 30 years ago, I would suspect that it will keep this green color.  It really is quite different from fresh osage.  The line in the riser is newly cut osage.  I wish that it would stay yellow to show the contrast.

Now you have to get a deer and give him a few steaks! Very nice job. I like when the woods come from the region you hunt...Congradulations!
