How to insert photos into post?

I see some posts with photos inserted into the post.  How do you do so and thus avoid a link to something such as Photobucket?
When I posted ads recently I had to do it this way and I prefer not to do so.

As long as they meet the size limits put the at the end of the photo link.

The image codes need to have NO spaces in front of or behind the link

You do need to go through a photo storage server like photobucket.  I find hunt101 to be easy to use.  Just upload photo, and use medium size link.

Ive never been able to get photos to work here unless I used something like photobucket. To me thats the easiest.
