I cant say what has been proven ever but can give my thoughts on the design. Simply put the forward handle will point better. The real pay off is in short limbs, less mass, more speed and shorter bow. Since the limbs dont need to  be pulled as far to achieve draw due to forward handle, you can then add preload which is speed. Theres a bit more in play but theres a short version. Good pointing, fast, hard hitting bow with in my opinion a higher forgiveness level for the size of the bow. Longer bows are forgiving and handle forward bows are too.

My Black Widow PMA III is the best shooting bow I've ever owned.  It's amazing.

Here's the only full draw shot I have of the Little Suckling. It's the gentleman I bought the bow from. It does really make a small package when taken down, easily fits in a small backpack. The riser is solid phenolic/micarta and is heavy and dead in hand at the shot. Very cool little bow.

I love the looks of these bows.  This might be a dumb question, but because the riser is so far forward, I'm wondering if these rear-mounted bows all tend to have higher grips.  For example, the BW's I've seen have higher grips.

I'm a longbow guy, and prefer low grips.  Can you get a low grip with rear-mounted limbs?

Thanks.
