My Timberhawk is ordered
« on: February 07, 2013, 10:40:00 PM »
Well I finally did it. I went and met with Scott Mitchell of Timberhawk bows. What an awesome guy. He spent a ton of time with me showing me the different woods and grip options.  I finally decided on a 17" cocobolo and shedua riser 50@28" and 58". This is my first custom bow and I am super excited.  Scott builds some beautiful bows

Scott is a top notch guy, He answered all of my questions and sometimes twice… He did a great job on mine I am sure yours will be the same. How long will you have to wait and what model did you get?
Hopefully you will see me as a better person today than I was yesterday..

I love my Timberhawk. Great bows and the only thing I currently shoot. The bear in my avatar was taken with it.

Yep, Scott is a really good fella that makes a great bow. I talked to him quite a bit the last 2 years at Denton Hill. His bows were some of the best I shot there. If I was in the market for a new recurve I would certainly consider a Timberhawk. Good Choice

Scott made my Timberhawk for me about 12 years ago and I still love it.  Taking it out for bear this spring :-)
