I know what you are saying. I am currently shooting a Das Dalaa recurve with Border Hex 6 limbs. It is fast and shoots great. Just does not seem the same as the longbows I have shot and hunted with. Like my friend Bill said. let the quest continue.
Thanks, Randy

Still on the fence. Had a couple leads on Tolke 2 pc bows. One was a little too light. One was 58" and I think a little to short for my 29" draw. i have a lead on the perfect Whip 2 pc right now. waiting on a call back. 62" 50@28. No used 2 pc Centaur's out there. Found a Big Jim in the right spec's . Need to make something happen soon.
Thanks, Randy

I just got a 2-piece Toelke Whip. The specs are: 50# at 28'', 64''.
The take down system appears to be solid and simple. No limb bolts to worry about or lose. I like it so far.
As for the bow: it draws quite smmoth, no handshock and is actually quite fast.
What was also good about everything was my wait time was three weeks from start to finish.

Thanks Guys. I am waiting the weekend out on a Fellow Trad Gang Member considering selling me his 2pc Whip. Also looking to get a spot on the Centaur List ?? Still undecided.
