Has anybody ever hunted bighorn ewe's in Wyoming? I'll probably never draw a ram tag but would me just as happy to hunt ewe's.
Thanks for any info...

I had a buddy draw the ewe tag last year and he got one but took a few days and a lot of horse miles. I've hunted/guided in that area a lot so if you draw and need some information look me up.
Best of Luck

I used to hunt elk in the southern portion of that area. We would see sheep regularly on the high spots (Younts Peak, Wiggins Peak, Steamboat Rock), which is mostly in designated wilderness, so that would require a guide for you. Big, wonderful country. As in all high country hunting, and especially sheep hunting, the better shape you are in, the more fun you will have. Good luck in drawing a tag!
