« on: February 13, 2013, 07:18:00 PM »
Has anyone got ( last week or two)any of the new attack pants in vias camo, do they fit the same as the old pants that came from the Canadian sew house?

Thanks Shane, I saw that too, but only a few reports.  I would like a few more opinions from Trad gang members to see if it is that indead, I have heard lots of other info about the verde run a few months ago.

What size are you? I wear 34" pants and I actually liked the verde sizing better. The waist was a true 34 whereas the vias was a lot bigger, closer to 36 and the vias were a lot shorter. Might not be a big deal for you, but at 6'4 it's nice to have the length.

KUIU Guarantee
February 13th, 2013 | By: Jason Hairston

There have been concerns expressed on the forums regarding sizing of our Verde gear.  It’s important to me that I express how passionately I stand behind my brand, and how equally dedicated I am to delivering the best products and experience possible to our customers.

If anyone has had or is having a fit issue with Verde in comparison to other KUIU products you have ordered in the past, please contact me directly at [email protected] or call 707-676-5260. I will personally work with our customer service team to take the necessary steps in making things right for you again.  I apologize for any inconvenience and hope I may keep you as a valued customer.

To put in perspective the magnitude of Verde sizing concerns, we have shipped 19,378 units of Verde and received a total of 38 returns from returning customers due to sizing. A .0019% return rate is the lowest return rate I have experience while in the apparel business.

I firmly believe in the products we make, what they are made with, who they are made by and the performance you will get when you choose KUIU. We will continue to innovate and push the boundaries further than any other brand in this industry and I hope you will be a part of it.

Feel free to email or call or comment on the blog.

[email protected] or call the office 707 676-5260.

I'm a 36, my only problem with the guarantee is shipping to and from Canada is going to cost me about 1/3 to 1/2 of the garment cost so returning is not really an option.

Jason posted that and a couple other things on the KUIU page because they were getting hammered with folks talking about the fit and their posts were getting deleted if they weren't positive in nature. Backpedaling on his account, but going in the right direction I believe. He said he built the company on transparency and openness and filtering comments and questions didn't fit into that mold. Always been curious about their gear but right now I love my First Lite merino so much I see no reason to change...other than wanting to try something different  :)

I placed my first Kuiu order couple of years ago with their first offering.  Jason was the guy who answered the phone and took my order.  I personally would trust their recommendation on sizing.  Good luck, your gonna love this gear.

You don't have to be in any business long to know you can not please everyone.

The KUIU gear is Top of the Line, I could not recommend it more highly. And they stand 100% behind it.

Iv been hunting the hell out of mine, I could live in the attack pants I like them so much.
There is more to the Hunt.. then the Horns

Andy, how true that is.  Hunted a week chasing elk and when we started our 22 straight hours drive home, I put the attack pants back on simply because they're the most comfortable!
