I have both DVDS and they are awsome two of my favorite chapters in  Essential Encounters is the buffaloe hunt and the young boy trying to get the turkey and the back ground music is exceptional, any person into bowhunting should be required to watch these 2 DVDS just my opinion.

Since I watched Primal I had some time today I might as well look at Essential Encounters again. Just really neat stuff, both of these DVDs could be seen over and over. Again ...hats off to those involved in their making    :notworthy:    :notworthy:

We came out with Essential Encounters a year and a half ago, so it will be  some time before we have another film ready. We don't do this full time and it just takes so much time to get new footage. This time it will be all HD, so new equipment is being bought now. We do so much appreciate your support over the many years we have done this. Mike

All I can say is that ever since watching, I can't stop dreaming about the day when I can track grasshoppers!

It's my driving life force now to learn...

I have a pretty silly hunting DVD collection, and these are my crown jewels.  I have owned multiple copies of each, as they either get worn out from kids using them or I end up giving them away to hunters and non-hunters.

They say so much, often by saying very little.  They do not get dated by old product placements or sponsor plugs, and are not fettered by the destination.  They are about the journey, and I have loved being invited to come along.

Mike,
When Gene reads the poetry at the end of the D.V.D. it really captures a Traditional bowhunters heart and soul on how we all feel about God's creation and nature but you my friend know how to put the words on paper...Keep up the good work Mike and thanks for sharing with us and not keeping it all hidden in your heart...   :campfire:  God Bless Mike,
