Anyone with insights on the new Kifaru pack ?
« on: February 20, 2013, 02:32:00 AM »
Am looking for a new pack and the Kifaru Highcamp with the new frame looks great.  Lightweight, and one large bag for the pack (7000 ci).  If I got one I think I would add an external pouch for small necessities.  Anybody seen one or used one ?

haven't seen the high camp yet but i just got a timberline 2. the comfort is amazing. if the highcamp and bikini frame suit your needs you won't be disappointed. kifaru is some top quality gear.

I have a rather large collection of Kifaru packs.

EMR
ZXR
Zulu
Marauder
X Ray

All excellent packs and worth every penny.  I use them daily and never had an issue.  Do your research and get the correct pack for the task.  Bigger is not always better.
