« on: February 22, 2013, 10:44:00 AM »
Burt Foster is a friend of mine who is trying to get into traditional archery along with his kids.  Burt is a Master Bladesmith of incredible talent.  He wouldn't post all this so I will.  Just trying to find some help and instruction from anyone living near him in Bristol, VA. His Trad gang name is Burt Foster.
Thanks....tippit

I cant tell you how glad I am for Burt to be here and a part of TG. His bladesmithing skills are unsurpassed. He's a fine family man as well and will certainly fit well within this community. Just wait till you see his knives! Good job Jeff!

Outstanding! Glad to have Burt here!  He is a fantastic teacher and was the instructor for the fist week of the ABS intro class I took a year or so ago.

I'm a couple of hours away from you Burt.
Nathan and I have been talking about getting together 1 day to shoot or even just grab a bite to eat.  Would you like to join us?

Jeff, thanks for the kind intro.  And to the local guys, thanks for the invites.  There's a new indoor range here in Bristol, really quite nice.  It'd be a good place to meet up since it's weather friendly.

Welcome Burt. I'm an hour and half down 81 from you. Jim and the group he shoots with are very good shooters and as good a bunch of guys you'll find.
