Firefly bows

I haven't really heard much about Firefly bows . I took one in a trade as I was interested in the little I have read on them. These bows really shoot unbelievable ! I cannot believe how smooth and quiet they are . They launch an arrow pretty quick to boot . I'm so impressed with it I ordered a new one thats just a little shorter . Anyone else tried these and what do you think ?

Nice bows and lots of fans on here. Do a search here and you will find some good reading. I can unfortunately say that they can take abuse. I dry fired mine a few times and then shut a pick up door on one tip but still in service with no complaint.

One of the best. Shoots as good as my widow recurve at same wt. Hard to believe. I am a 25 yr. Widow shooter- but seriously, Jim Jones makes an incredible bow.

Great bows, but better man who builds them. Last time I talked to Jim at GLLI he was working on a short TD recurve. I have had three of the longbows. Wish I had a couple of them back again. I have my eye open for them to show up on the classifieds, but they never have.

No doubt, very well made and great shooting bows. Mine is 60" and 48#@28". A really great handling bow that I used all last hunting season.
