2pc Thunderchild Grip?
« on: February 23, 2013, 11:06:00 PM »
Is the grip on the 2pc only availible in one size/shape due to the sleeve in the grip?

Thanks again for the bow David, very nice. On this list to have one built. Just curious how the sizing is for the 2pc. Throat on this one is a little big. I like a small throat with some palm swell.

Big Jim told me he could adjust the size on his grips. didn't ask what the cost would be.

Just tell Jim what you want he always does his best to accommodate.  I have shot several TC's with grips different than mine....  Give him a call and if you have a grip you like take some measurements...

Click the link below around 700 pictures of Jim's bows...  there are lots of Thunderchild grips to look at.... all of Jim's 2pc takedowns start life as a one piece, he just cuts them in half    :scared:

Jim can do just about any custom grip you want unless it is totally not possible with the sleeve takedown system but I would think most any longbow style grip would be possible.

Jim told me he can do most any longbow grip within reason.  For sure his standard sizes and low or medium.
