The pricing will probably depend on what he has in stock as far as wood. Exotic wood will cost you more most likely. Most boyers require anywhere from 100 to half down when you place an order so two payments would be fine.

He should be calling me at anytime. I put down a hundred dollars when we first talked, that was about six months ago. You do get to pick your woods and different combos of how you want them to go together. He has horn and antler tips and back and belly overlays available also.

Just give him a call. He has plenty of woods to chose from at the standard price. He is great guy and really enjoyable to talk to.

There's not a more genuine character in the world, just call him. Super easy to deal with.. be careful if you visit his shop expecting to select bow woods- you might go crazy trying to decide.

Yep, but if you are the sensitive type, don't ask Large for black or brown glass.

Ditto on calling him, I just got a 2pc B/W Ebony Buffalo and Jim just nailed the exact overall color balance and look I was wanting.  Just be patient if placing an order.... best thing is to commit to the bow then just completely put it out of your head because he has quite the backlog. If he doesn't think the woods/combination you tell him will look good he'll definitely tell you, I don't think he would agree to build a less than beautiful bow.  Some of the best looking and functional tradition bows out there bar none.
