My wife and I are leaving for our annual fall bear hunt in Maine on Sat. (2 days but whose counting). Equipment is all tuned, sharpened and ready to go...we even wash out towels in unscented Sports Wash because the cabins we stay at all use that perfume scented detergent and fabric softener. In a word, we're ready.

I've been waiting since it ended here last December. Squirrels and bears open next month and I won't just have blunts in the quiver when I go chasing the treerats next month. lol

Ready? You Can Bet I'm Gettin' Ready! This season I'm gonna be using my "new to me" John McCullough ~ Griffin ~ with wood arrows and 125gr Woodsman Broadheads. Gonna stalk the thick stuff and keep my shot close.

Hope you, Skipp and the rest of the "pink guys" can spend a weekend with me at my place. That would be real cool.

I'll be going back to using Magnus II 125 with a 30 gr PDP weight. I might carry a couple of the Woodsman BHs I have left from last year. They will be reserved for critters other then Whitetails. Both fly well for me. Just think the 2 blade will be better for my 45# bow.  Just sitting here fletching a few arrows. Got a bag of 50 Red left wing for $16 couldn't pass it up.
I will give thanks to the LORD because of his righteousness and will sing praise to the name of the LORD Most High.
