I use B50 on all my bows.
When I first make a string, I put it on the bow, lay the back on a carpeted surface, and apply pressure to the tips. This will stretch the string about an inch after I do this a couple of times.
Over the life of the string, I may adjust the length once or twice, but that's it.
To each his own, but because something is new, it is not necessarily better for me.

It works [B-50/B-55]......I have no issues with it and it is cheap compared to the others. It makes my bows almost silent and I have yet to see a reason to change. My old Bears need it as does my Silvertip ..........

An endless loop B50 string with 10 - 14 strand (depending on poundage) and few or no twists will perform very close to a Flemish fast flight and will have little to no creep.

Mainly B-50 for me, but have owned a few bows that were much better behaved with the newer materials.

I have two classes of bows, the ones made from the 50s to early 70s which get B50 and the ones made within the last couple of years which get D97. ONce B50 is thoroughly stretched it stops stretching. It doesn't stretch forever.
