Snow Stumping day before Spring
« on: March 19, 2013, 05:11:00 PM »
We had a little snow storm last night, but today was very nice out. Thought we would get out for an hour or two on the day before Spring and cast a few arrows at some stumps. There were several different animal tracks around from earlier this morning, but were all ready melting beyond recognition. The only thing to go by was the walking pattern.

We had some fun picking different shots to challenge each other.

I was close but couldn't hit this hole from about 25 yards.

I will give thanks to the LORD because of his righteousness and will sing praise to the name of the LORD Most High.

Gwyn did really well making most of her shots count. It is great to see her improving and enjoying archery.

We didn't stay out too long. Gwyn's toes were getting cold because she didn't were warm socks, but we were out long enough to share a good time and enjoy the woods.

Looks like a you had a great time.  Short is fine, just keep Gwyn happy.
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.
