After some age and back injury issues, my draw length has significantly decreased. I was pulling a tad over 27 inches, but am now pulling about 26 inches. I have never paid attention to FOC and fancy, technological approaches to arrow selection, but I am interested. I need to review my arrow selection.
What would your arrow spec recommendations be if setting up for the following bow? I will be shooting POC wood. Assume I know nothing about woodies (which is not so very far from the truth, even though I have shot them for a number of years). The primary quarry is whitetail deer in the Georgia woods out to 25 yards or so from both elevated stands and ground level. Also, I have been shooting Magnus two blade BH and like them, but again, I am open to suggestion.
Bow is a 68" Hill Wesley Special rated at 65# draw@ 28" with FF string. As stated, I pull almost 26 " exactly.
Thanks for any advice, as I have had some trouble shooting my original selection.
