KME broadhead sharpener for grizzly broadheads?

Will the KME broadhead sharpener work on single bevel broadheads like the grizzly 160s

I have the knife sharpening KME and it has worked very well on LW single Grizzlys for me. I set up the angle and work the bevel side to get the burr and then use a small stone or micro file to take the burr off of the non bevel side and then repeat as necessary to get that perfect edge. Awesome tool the KME.

Funny you should ask. I had the broadhead sharpener and then called Ron to order the Knife sharpener so I could do the Grizzly's. Ron was trying to talk me into staying with the broadhead sharpener saying it is perfect for the grizzly's. I still bought the knife kit but to answer your question Yes it will work for them.

Very nice job     Tell us how long that took from out of the pack? Grizzlies are factory ground much better than they used to be (I know because I built the fixture) but they can still take a little effort to get as perfect as you got them. I think the one in the picture is one of the older Grizz too, right? Thanks!

BTW, I like the BHD sharpener for 120 gr.-160 gr. Grizzlies but I prefer the knife sharpener for the longer 170 gr. and 200 gr. Kodiaks.

Thanks Ron and Bill!  To answer your question Ron, that probably took 25-30 minutes tops from out of the pack to splitting hairs.  That is one of the Zipper made grizzlies.  
The hardest part is setting the initial bevel .  The new grind makes this so much easier!  But I also purchased a very course DMT diamond steel that makes fairly quick work of this.  Follow Ron's direction and don't move to the polishing stones until you are shaving with te course stone!!!
Then it's just a matter of polishing and stropping.  One you have the initial bevel set, lets the stones do te work!! That means don't use too much pressure!
I market my grizzlies after each stone to ensure I'm getting an even polishing as well.  

As a side, in working on some if the Pre-zipper grizzlies for kicks.  Yeah that initial grind has taken a few sessions to get shaving on the course DMT diamond steel!  Thanks so much to Ron and Zipper for working together to make this broadhead feasible for the lamen like me!

ah ha! That makes all the difference.    

Bill and Tim (Bills shop man) are putting out a broadhead that has always been historically excellent but is now far superior to what it used to be in so many ways. I can tell you without any doubt that Bill’s honest goal is simply to provide the very best product he can. Be that a broadhead or a bow. Good man right there.     Sorry Bill, I know how uncomfortable you are with people talking nice about you but hey, somebody’s got to do it!
