BW Grip ?
« on: March 23, 2013, 10:46:00 PM »
Anyone have any experience with the low grip on the Black Widow bows? Any problems switching between the standard and low grips?
 Thanks...Mike

It's personal preference. I ave had them all. Personally I will only own bw with low grip. I shoot it best and ow feels much more of a fit to me.

Really like the low grip on my PCH X.  Makes is very easy to switch to one of my longbows.

I like  the low a lot, but shoot the standard fine also.

Thanks for the replies. I have been shooting a standard grip BW for years. I am looking for a lighter weight Widow I found one pretty much exactly what I was looking for but it has the low grip. I know it is personal preference and unfortunately the only way to find out if I like the low grip would be to purchase the bow. I guess I will pass on this one and keep looking.
Thanks...Mike

as far as a widow grip goes, i have found the asbel grip the best grip for me, it really fits my hand and just feels right..

Low grip is the way to go. What I have on all of mine.  I have had all of them. I do not see a problem going from  standard to low.

I have three BW recurves and all have the low grip. I find it more stable than the high grip. Do not care for the asbell grip.

If you shoot with a straight wrist grip, the different grips don't matter as you are only holding the bow by the throat of the grip.  I prefer the low wrist because I like the way it feels when I am carrying the bow but I can shoot any of the 3 grips equally well.
