« on: August 25, 2007, 08:27:00 PM »
I'm looking for a pair of copperhead skins for my Morrison Dakota. They seem to be few and far between (and go fast) . Has anyone ever dealt with American Head Hunters. They list 1st quality skins for $25.00 each.

they have quality skins but i think they have been tanned and will not work on skinning a bow they will wrinkle up on you . voodoofire1 got some from them but they messed up we didnt know they were tanned . get ahold of snakewood3 he had some and is a very good person to deal with ,

I got a texas rat snake from them. It worked fine and was not tanned. Just air dried. I called and asked specifically if they were tanned, he assured me that they were not. Maybe they have some that are tanned  but I know if you call they do have air dried ones. I put the rat snake on a bow of mine and had no problems. Steve
