My son has a St. Joe River bow that he is very happy with. He is 6 and got it last year

I've got both Black Rhinos and Maddog bows for my kids.  You'll spend less money with the Black Rhino, but the Maddog is a higher quality bow.  I've got 2 of each, and 3 kids shooting them.  Both are fantastic.

The Maddog Pup is great! My buddies son uses one and he is four I believe. He absolutely loves it.
