My first wood arrows...
« on: March 30, 2013, 08:04:00 PM »
first off thanks to those that have help my cause both in helping me with the steps to build wood arrows and those that were nice enough to trade me some arrow making equipment for other hunting gear.

These shafts I got in trade and are POC 11/32 tapered to 5/16. I stained the bottom portion with dark brown and left the top part natural. I used 2 died yellow and 1 natural barred turkey feathers. The cresting is white, black, and silver acents. I made these to match my blacktail and think they came out pretty good for round 1 of wood arrow making.
