Arrows didn't work out
« on: April 08, 2013, 11:29:00 PM »
Beman ICS bowhunters 400 spine 75 grain insert & 175 grain heads at 30". String got shot in enough to effect bh n had to adjust, too weak & also was informed they are too light. Think I finally found the "perfect" setup- GT XT Hunter 340's with 100 grain insert 175 grain heads full length to tune, along with Gold Tips insert weights (can be screwed in thru the nock side! Really didn't want to sell my VPA 3 blade heads so hopefully this works out and I can keep them!

As long as I can screw multiple insert weights together I should be good, otherwise I really hope somebody has some heavier VPA'S that they want to trade. Does anybody know how much weight I would need up front on the 340's to get them to fly well?
