New Lil'Creep, and first robinhood
« on: April 09, 2013, 12:09:00 AM »
Hey Trad Gang Brothers and Sisters.
May I Introduce my latest addition to the family. She's a fine girl even if she is a bit Creepy  :D

I called her "Patience" since bowhunters are generally  benefited by this virtue. And also because I knew the long wait between ordering and receiving would test mine.
I went out this morning to do some shooting and take a few pics to share with you all, and my second group of the day, from 14 yards, did this.

here's a closer look......there're 4 arrows in there, but one's no good anymore.

and a couple more pics.

This bow is quick and quiet.......without any tool marks anywhere and the jack knife system is solid, silent, and super fast to use.
The only thing less than perfect is the leather grip is of a poorer quality leather than I would have liked. I happen to know a fella who's fairly handy with such things, so it will eventually wear a new leather grip wrap. I also changed out the string it came with for one of my skinny(10 strands of TS-plus)strings and added some wool puffs.
Sping bears..........watchout!

That is a nice bow Ellis and a nice group you put into that mulie!  Congrats on the first Robin Hood I'm sure it won't be the last  ;)

My 4-shot groups (the good ones) are looking more like this at 12 yards:

The poorer groups make use of the hay bales

But then again I'm still learning and I've only had this bow 2 days...

That's a good looking bow. Very elegant and simplistic looking. That's some good shooting with it to.

Those are sweet looking bows. Yep they are simple but sweet!!

And that jacknife option is really nice. I am kicking myself for not getting it on my first bushbow.
