Shot in the dark

I tried candle flame shooting indoors. It didn't work out as well as I would have liked.
The candle did it's job but it lit up that end of the room more than I expected whereas when I shoot it outside there's no walls to reflect the light.
I am still trying to get the video uploaded into a place so I can share it with you.
Here is a still of my target after my last arrow.
Shooting at flame in the dark really helps me tighten up my groups.
Thanks for looking.
God bless,Mudd

Never used a candle but I do like to blank bale outside in the dark with just the porch light in the background. I get some of my best relases during those sessions. Now if I can convince the DNR to let me hunt that time of day I'll be set.

Very good practice and nice grouping...
I use one of those cheap laser pointers to project a dot on the target....

As a confirmed candle shooting nut, I must state emphatically: Very nice job, brother!!! The most faith enhancing practice there is. Sort of like catching a fly with chopsticks...a man shoots the flame off a candle in the dark with an arrow from 20 yards, accomplish anything!

I let kids shoot at balloons or clay birds because when they hit one something happens and they get even more excited.
I'm enough of a kid to need something to happen also when I hit where want the arrow to go.
